Promo flyer for staged reading in Spring 2019

What is the play about?

Pigtunia is a queer coming-to-age story about Becca, a high school senior, who, with graduation looming, tries to navigate the anxieties and pressures of her future. Things get interesting when Pigtunia, her childhood stuffed animal, comes to life, forcing Becca to face the hard truths of her situation. Set in a tent during the end of year camping trip, the play navigates the evolution of friendship, explores the complexities of adolescence, and investigates the question of what it means to grow up.
